Job Title: SEN Tutor

Job Type: Part-time or Full-time

Location: Child's home, Local library or Community Centre

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor to work with children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the Hertford area. As a Tutor, you will deliver sessions on a 1:1 basis to young people unable to attend mainstream education.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sessions to children with SEN on a 1:1 basis
  • Work with a range of SEN, including English and Maths
  • Collaborate with the child's support team to develop a tailored learning plan
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Teacher, Teaching Assistant or Mentor
  • Ability to work with children with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel to the child's home, local library or community centre
