We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Operations Support Officer to join our team at Energy Systems Catapult. As a key member of our Operations Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and deployment of our various platforms, including the Living Lab, Warm Home Prescription, and Net Zero Go.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to consumers, participants, and local authorities using our platforms, including system administration tasks, data quality maintenance, and trial administration.
- Interface with stakeholders, including Living Lab participants, colleagues, and commercial partners, using strong communication skills.
- Maintain the accuracy of databases and associated software, reviewing reports to monitor data quality and resolving any gaps or issues.
- Support the development of the Living Lab platform, working with other ESC teams to contribute Operations' needs and requirements.
- Manage day-to-day work priorities, escalating work where necessary, and monitor risk and quality assessment and management.
- Contribute to trial planning activities, working with project teams, clients, and government bodies to enable the smooth running of trials.
- Facilitate the installation and decommissioning of technologies, handling logistics, and liaising with participants, installers, and clients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues, and a willingness to develop new skills and support tools and systems.
- Collaborative and flexible approach, with the ability to work cross-functionally with other teams and navigate competing priorities.
- Interest in decarbonisation and/or the energy sector.
- Experience in customer service or a similar role.
- Experience applying methodical problem-solving approaches, with a view to minimising the impact and preventing recurrence.
- Experience handling large datasets, especially using and creating reports and queries within Tableau.
