At British Airways, we are seeking an experienced Aircraft Technical Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining technical standards, policy, and strategic direction including scoping the impact of and influencing future legislation.

The salary for this role is £65,000 per annum, plus benefits such as staff travel benefits and discounted airfares. As a key member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to develop your career both in the technical field and within the wider community.

We are looking for an individual with a recognised Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent, who has hands-on experience with aircraft/engine/products. You will also need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to present operational and business performance to senior stakeholders.

  • Act as a consultant on technical and airworthiness matters
  • Maintain oversight of fleet reliability
  • Leading or supporting technical investigations
