Learning Support Expert

We are seeking an experienced SEN/SEND tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As an inclusive education specialist, you will provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to work with a dynamic team, delivering flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring services to vulnerable learners in Nottinghamshire. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting inclusivity and social justice, and a commitment to supporting young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:- Deliver tailored tutoring and mentoring services to students with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
- Collaborate with schools and local authorities to ensure seamless integration and effective support
- Contribute to the development of our SEN/SEND Support Team, sharing best practices and resources to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
- Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
- Two professional references
- You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK
£32-£40 per hour (dependent on experience)
