We are recruiting for a Resilience-Focused Teaching Assistant for Challenging Behaviour to join a 'Good' graded secondary pupil referral unit in Preston.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH) in an alternative provision or PRU school setting. A key aspect of this role will be developing positive relationships with pupils and supporting them in overcoming challenges.

A salary of £26,000 - £31,000 per annum is offered to the successful candidate. This long-term position provides the opportunity to progress your career in an excellent alternative provision and make a lasting impact on the lives of students in Preston.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with SEN and challenging behaviour
  • A proven ability to engage all pupils and raise their attainment
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks
