Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Test Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing verification and validation protocols for our medical devices, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute verification and validation test plans and protocols.
  • Verify design changes and new features in accordance with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
  • Assist in root cause analysis of field performance issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain and calibrate test and laboratory equipment in accordance with QMS requirements.
  • Develop and procure test equipment and fixtures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with medical device standards (Electrical Safety BS EN 60601, including 60601-1-2 EMC).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document activities and report findings to regulatory authorities.
