Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected supplier of sophisticated medical diagnostics systems as an Installation and Training Engineer.

The role involves installing and training on a wide range of sophisticated medical laboratory diagnostics systems, utilized within pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments.

As an Installation and Training Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of diagnostic systems, providing training to customers, and ensuring that the systems are functioning correctly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install diagnostic systems in pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments
  • Provide training to customers on the use and maintenance of diagnostic systems
  • Ensure that diagnostic systems are functioning correctly and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with customers
Requirements
  • Qualified to a minimum of ONC level in engineering, electronics, or a science-based subject
  • Experience in a customer-facing field service or installation engineering capacity within a high-value electronics or electro-mechanical capital equipment environment
  • Ability to demonstrate a competent background in a customer-facing field service or installation engineering capacity
  • Applications are encouraged from engineers with a broad range of backgrounds, including laboratory device, medical device, pharmaceutical device, ex-forces engineers, and other electronic or electro-mechanical sectors
