Job Title: Chemical Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chemical Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and unpacking deliveries of consumables and chemicals, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
  • Preparing sampling kits, including addition of preservatives, and disposing of unused kits safely following laboratory procedures.
  • Assisting with performing a range of laboratory checks, including quality control and quality assurance tasks.
  • Providing administrative support to the laboratory team, including maintaining accurate records and databases.
Requirements:
  • Interest in science, preferably with qualifications related to the science field.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience of working in a laboratory setting would be advantageous.
