About the Job

In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will have the opportunity to work with our experienced healthcare team to provide top-notch services to our patients. As a key member of our environmental services department, you will maintain inventory, prepare orders for non-par stock items, and assist in training new employees on day-to-day procedures observing and enforcing all hospital policies, rules, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sanitation and Disinfection: Clean patients' rooms, wash, mop, vacuum, and disinfect each discharge room for new admissions.
  2. Patient Interaction: Address and meet all patient non-clinical needs as required, interact with staff and patients on a regular basis, and collaborate with other members of the environmental services department.
  3. Transportation and Supply Delivery: Transport patients, deliver laboratory specimens, x-rays, lab reports, telephone requests, stockroom requisitions, and other miscellaneous items necessary to support nursing units.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. If you have a high school diploma or equivalent and are eager to learn and grow, we invite you to apply.
