Care Home Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Go To Outsourcing.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to residents of our care home. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About You:

  • Able to work 12+ months as a Kitchen Assistant
  • Familiarity with cooking for large groups (30+ people)
  • Ability to prepare English-style dishes from fresh produce
  • Comfortable working flexible hours between 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Can adapt menu options on the spot if needed
  • Training in IDDSI is desirable

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a catering environment is essential
  • Right to work in the UK and 12 months of experience in a care setting
  • Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to apply
  • Availability to work 20-30+ hours per week
