Job Summary: The Ministry of Justice is seeking a qualified ordained Anglican chaplain to join our team as a part-time Faith Leader. In this role, you will work collaboratively with other chaplains, volunteers, and external groups to deliver spiritual care and guidance to prisoners and staff within the correctional facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement faith-based programs and activities
  • Facilitate worship services, meditation sessions, and prayer meetings
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care and support for prisoners
  • Engage with external organizations to promote interfaith understanding and cooperation
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to chaplaincy services

Requirements:
  • Ordination as an Anglican Deacon, Priest, Reader, or Church Army Evangelist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to upholding the values and principles of the Ministry of Justice
