About the Role:

The Midcounties Co-operative is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our nursery management team, you will be responsible for supporting the leadership and development of your team, providing direction, guidance, leadership, and expertise to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Early Years professionals to deliver high-quality education and care to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the quality of education and care, ensuring compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage and Ofsted regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Excellence team to achieve outstanding results and contribute to the development of the nursery's vision and mission.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the nursery's compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum level 6-degree qualification in Early Years or a related field (e.g., EYTS, EYPS, QTS, PGCE, BA or BSc in Early years).
  • Proven experience of leading a team in the Early Years sector, with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Ofsted inspections.
  • Clear enhanced DBS, a sense of humor, and a passion for Early Years and working with children.
