Strategic Commercial Leader Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Senior Commercial Manager to lead procurement and commercial management for our cutting-edge infrastructure projects in the data center industry.

This role provides the opportunity to work with a leading company that shapes the future of data centers globally, with frequent travel to Norway and involvement in large-scale, innovative projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Optimize procurement processes to enhance project execution.
  • Ensure competitive delivery of large infrastructure projects at industry-leading cost and quality benchmarks.
  • Develop long-term procurement strategies that foster competitive advantages in EPC execution.
  • Create value and reduce costs while managing supply risks and developing new sourcing strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with equipment manufacturers and service providers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and introduce innovative materials and suppliers.
  • Lead a team of procurement professionals and collaborate with corporate and operational teams.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree and/or qualification from recognized bodies such as RICS or CIOB is preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in procurement or commercial management roles within relevant industries.
  • Experience in the data center sector is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills are essential.
  • A strategic mindset with a focus on results, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented approach is required.
  • Strong proficiency in English and IT tools such as Microsoft Office.

Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per year (dependent on experience)
