About the Role

A Theatre Nurse / ODP is required to join a reputable private hospital in Norwich. The hospital offers state-of-the-art facilities and provides a range of services including orthopaedic, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT, and general surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Support the theatre team in a variety of operations, including orthopaedics, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT, and general surgery.
  • Prepare patients for surgery and provide care to patients undergoing procedures.
  • Review patient charts and confirm data.
  • Ensure medical equipment is prepared for surgery.
  • Monitor patients' conditions throughout surgery.
  • Cover anaesthetic duties as required.
  • Support patients through their recovery period post-surgery.
  • Pass equipment to the surgeon.

Requirements

  • NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  • At least 2 years' experience in scrub in the UK.
  • Experience working under minimal supervision.
  • Passion for high-quality care.
  • Excellent communication skills.
