We are seeking a highly skilled French Speaking Paralegal to join our Legal team in the UK.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a range of commercial agreements with customers, vendors, and partners, in compliance with company policies and risk tolerances, with an emphasis on French language agreements.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing ad hoc legal advice to Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Product teams, summarizing and communicating legal concepts and risks in a way that is meaningful for business teams.
  • Driving the continuous improvement of standard form agreements, legal knowledge databases/FAQs, and legal training materials.
  • Helping develop scalable review and approval processes and procedures.
  • Being an excellent communicator who understands how to manage both team and client expectations.
  • Being confident in working with a large degree of autonomy.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and contributes to an informal working environment. You will:

  • Be a fluent speaker of both French and English who is able to review, draft, and negotiate contracts in both languages.
  • Have completed a law degree in a relevant jurisdiction.
  • Be highly organized with experience of managing contracts and associated processes.
  • Have a willingness to roll up your sleeves and dig in on the details of projects working as part of a team — both with other members of the legal function and with non-legal partners.
  • Have the ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Be able to make pragmatic decisions, balancing legal and commercial drivers.
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to identify and do work without being instructed.
