Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of compassion, empathy, and understanding. As a Care Assistant, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver person-centered care to designated patients, including admission and discharge, medicines management, and care requiring technology or specific techniques
  2. Co-ordinate and lead planned care shifts for stable patients, allocating care and managing routine tasks as required
  3. Participate in family wellbeing groups and events, and hydrotherapy sessions

Requirements

  • Essential: Working with children or young people in a professional setting, ability to undertake physical activities and manual handling, full UK driver's license, and own transport
  • Desirable: Experience working with children and young people with complex health needs, delivery of end-of-life care, and using technology and complex equipment

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £24,071 - £29,114 per annum, dependent on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including enhanced annual leave entitlement, subsidized meals, and an AVIVA pension package up to 7% Employer Contribution.
