Job Summary
AWE Plc is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the delivery of professional engineering services. The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling the Principal Asset Engineer in fulfilling the strategy for the upkeep of all assets and equipment.

Salary
The salary for this role is £50,190 - £68,130 per annum, depending on your suitability and level of experience.

Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive engineering solutions to ensure the effective operation of facility systems and structures.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to engineers on complex engineering problems and issues.
  • Leading and coordinating the delivery of engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Managing and mitigating risks associated with engineered systems and structures, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on engineering projects and initiatives.

Requirements
We are looking for candidates with experience in leading engineering delivery across infrastructure facilities, particularly in highly regulated industries such as oil & gas, rail, aerospace, or chemical & explosive. You should also have experience in facility engineering and maintenance services, as well as electrical building services, including LV/HV, HVAC, small power, lighting, lightning protection, ATEX, UPS, etc.
