Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering and Maintenance Manager to join our team at Resourcing Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the Hotel and Spa facility, ensuring that all legal requirements are met, and that budgetary goals are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the Hotel and Spa facility, including the physical building structure, all plant and FF&E, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.
- Combine project management and project support responsibilities to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure that all legal requirements are complied with, and that budgetary goals are met.
- Responsible for the safety and security of guests and associates of the Hotel, especially in relation to Fire & Life Safety, Evacuation and Security issues.
- Ensure full compliance with, and implementation of, UK Fire & Life Safety Legislation, plus Corporate and Hotel policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Hospitality experience - ideally minimum 2+ years in larger/complex hotels.
- Can be somewhat flexible based on candidate readiness/growth progression as evidenced by CV.
- Minimum qualifications (within last 5 years, ideally minimum 2 of the below):
- IOSH
- Legionella Duty-holder
- Asbestos Duty-holder
- Pool Plant Operator
- CMMS/Electronic FM software experience
- Education/Training in relevant studies strongly preferred (facilities management, engineering, etc).
