Job Role: Contracts Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Coordinator to join our Dartford Logistics department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for liaising with customers and colleagues to ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer orders. Your duties will include arranging import shipment bookings, updating the Warehouse Management System, and performing other administrative tasks in a professional and positive manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange import shipment bookings
  • Close attention to detail updating the Warehouse Management System
  • Liaise with customers, offices, and overseas partners
  • Charge files, pass invoices, and deal with queries
  • Be adaptable and willing to learn
  • Be a team player keen to contribute to the success of the department
  • Excellent communication skills - dealing with customers, keeping them updated, solving problems
  • Good commercial awareness

Requirements

  • Willingness to learn new systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter and driven
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Experience in a logistics environment is ideal but not essential, as full training will be given
  • GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
