Job Title: Physiotherapist Functional Assessor

We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with a focus on providing high-quality assessments to individuals with disabilities or conditions.

About the Role

As a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and determining how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. You will draw on your clinical expertise to listen carefully to each person's medical history, perform physical examinations, and produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP).

The role involves meeting people both face-to-face and via telephone/video, and you will be sensitive, compassionate, and able to ask the right questions while upholding best practice standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with disabilities or conditions
  • Produce accurate and concise reports for the DWP
  • Meet with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video
  • Draw on clinical expertise to inform assessments and reports
Requirements
  • Qualified Physiotherapist with a strong clinical background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) present on CV
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
