Job Overview

A supportive Teaching Assistant is required to work in a large, welcoming school in Newport. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to students who require additional help in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Student Support: Provide tailored support to pupils who need extra assistance in their learning.
  2. Classroom Collaboration: Work closely with teachers to develop and implement effective lesson plans.
  3. Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and track student progress, identifying areas where extra support may be needed.
Requirements:
  1. Enhanced DBS: Hold an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on the update service.
  2. Registration with EWC: Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
  3. UK Driver's License: Possess a valid UK driver's license (desirable).
