Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mathematics teacher to join our team at Supply Desk. As a Mathematics teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring and educating students in various Secondary Schools in Newport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver interactive Mathematics lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Differentiate instruction to cater to varying learning styles and abilities
  • Maintain a well-organised and safe learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practices
  • Make significant contributions to Mathematics curriculum development

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Mathematics education
  • Proven ability to differentiate instruction and manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council and enhanced DBS clearance
