Job Summary: As a Minerals Mine Worker at SLB, you will be responsible for extracting crude materials from mines. This role involves operating heavy and mobile equipment, monitoring performance, and performing maintenance and troubleshooting in the mine environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Operate heavy and mobile equipment used in mining operations, ensuring safe and efficient performance.
  • Monitor Performance: Monitor equipment performance and report any deviations to mine management.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform maintenance and troubleshooting tasks in the mine environment, as required.
  • Underground Operations: Assist with underground truck and loader operation, drilling operations, shot firing operations, and installation of mine services.
  • Mine Safety: Participate in mine cycle safety work, including roof scaling, roof bolting, and mesh installation.
  • Training and Development: Receive on-the-job training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Additional Requirements:

  • Operational Experience: A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in mining operations.
  • Equipment Operation: Experience operating modern diesel equipment, including manual aspects of the role.
  • Explosives Handling: Willingness to undergo a Police Record Check due to the nature of handling explosives in the role.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
