Marketing and Communications Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing and Communications Officer to join our team at Ark Globe AcademySouthwark. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies to promote our academy and improve brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to promote our academy and improve brand awareness
- Manage and maintain our social media platforms and website, ensuring compliance with our brand guidelines
- Design and create rich multi-media content to post on our website, social media, and video channels
- Manage the delivery of external marketing publicity materials, such as prospectuses, promotional films, and advertisements
- Project manage and coordinate virtual and on-site events, including open days, community fairs, and careers events
- Provide comprehensive administration support for attendance, admissions, and other academy functions
- Be one of the academy's main first aiders and fire marshals
- Undertake various ad hoc duties, including exam invigilation, playground duties, and cashless till operation
- Relevant qualifications in office administration - desirable
- Experience of data entry into databases and other IT systems
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Able to manage several projects at once, prioritizing accordingly to meet all deadlines
- Able to take ownership of tasks and work with minimal supervision
- Genuine passion for and a belief in the potential of every pupil
- Excellent interpersonal skills with children and adults
- Commitment to equality of opportunity and the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils
- Willingness to undertake training
