Health Care Educator

As a renowned institution in British Columbia, Sprott Shaw College is committed to delivering exceptional education. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Health Care Assistant (HCA) Instructor to join our team.
The HCA Instructor will be responsible for teaching students in both theoretical and laboratory settings. A deep understanding of the college's HCA program goals, learning objectives, and policy/procedures for clinical training is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instructs curriculum using pre-authorized materials, ensuring students meet the required standards.
- Maintains and updates curriculum regularly to align with industry advancements.
- Administers assessments and grades student work accurately and fairly.
- Participates in faculty meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated on best practices.
- Supervises students during clinical placements, providing guidance and support when needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Holds a current practicing license as an LPN, RN, or RPN with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Possesses at least two years of full-time nursing experience.
