Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior/Supervising Social Worker to join our team in Cymru South. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and promoting our fostering services, working closely with foster families, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective fostering services that meet the needs of children and young people
  • Work closely with foster families to provide support and guidance
  • Conduct regular visits and assessments to ensure the well-being and safety of children and young people
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Social Work qualification
  • Professional registration with Social Work Wales or equivalent
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality report writing
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures
  • Ability to travel extensively, including occasional nights away
  • Full driving license
