Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to support our teaching staff in primary and secondary schools across Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support class teachers in mainstream settings, ensuring pupils understand and engage with the work set.
  • Provide 1:1 support for students who may need extra help, including those with special educational needs (SEN) or those struggling with behaviour expectations.
  • Deliver small group intervention and catch-up sessions to help students achieve their learning targets.
