Job Title: Gynaecology Oncology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our Gynaecology Oncology team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. As a Gynaecology Oncology Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with gynaecological cancers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert care to patients with gynaecological cancers, including symptom management and support.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients and staff.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to gynaecological cancer care.
Requirements:
  • NMC Registered Nurse (RMN/RGN) qualification.
  • Recognised teaching qualification or experience in teaching.
  • Demonstrable gynaecological oncology and symptom control knowledge.
  • Conversant with developments in oncology at national and local levels.
  • IT literacy using a range of current and relevant packages.
  • Teaching and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrable gynaecological oncology palliative care experience.
  • Managing specified patient caseload.
