About the Role:
Futures Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and converting them into sales to meet the company's targets for growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers in the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
- Communicate new product propositions to existing and prospective customers, highlighting the benefits of our software solutions.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver responses (inclusive of presentations) to existing and prospective customers, showcasing our expertise in software and data science.
- Produce a monthly sales report covering activity, including sales performance and market trends.
- Promote and develop the corporate image and reputation of Futures Manufacturing, contributing to the overall business development plan.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and provide regular market activity feedback to the Managing Director.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of software and data science.
- Proven track record in a technical sales role within the software engineering market sector, with experience selling SAAS and complex engineered systems.
- Excellent proposal presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to customers and colleagues at all levels.
- Confident working in an autonomous leadership role, with the ability to self-start and lead a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues at all levels.
