About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Compliance to join our Risk, Legal & Compliance teams at Howden Group Holdings. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a strong background in compliance and regulatory affairs to provide leadership and oversight to our compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with senior operational management to ensure compliance systems and controls are in place and effective.
  • Ensuring operational management are briefed in a timely manner on regulatory changes and updates.
  • Managing assigned projects and contributing to projects as required.
  • Providing management information to the Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Management on compliance matters.
  • Ensuring the compliance team has access to timely and insightful data to inform their understanding of regulatory risks and customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of FCA requirements specifically relating to insurance within ICOBs.
  • Good knowledge of FCA requirements in relation to insurance products.
  • Experience of leading a compliance team and working with Board level management.
  • Strong regulatory focus and insurance product regulation expertise.
  • 5 years' experience at senior compliance management level or above.
