Workshop and Service Operations Manager

Overview:
Safer Hand Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Workshop and Service Operations Manager to lead the efficient operation of the Service Team. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and management experience, with a strong approach to working in a workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively lead the Service Team to deliver inspirational service to customers, ensuring the financial plan for the service business is met in terms of gross profit, direct profit, and workshop utilisation.
* Build customer relationships and expand the customer base.
* Monitor department profitability, controlling clocking's, WIP, and billed hours, while minimising diverted hours.
* Manage fleet vehicles, including preventative maintenance, MOT's, and servicing schedules.
* Deliver daily reporting to the General Manager as required.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience working within commercial vehicle parts.
* Technical mind and ideally a technical or engineering background and/or qualifications.
* Management experience and a strong, robust approach.
* Able to work on own initiative and be self-sufficient.
