At GSL Education, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutor to work with students who exhibit challenging behaviour in Wakefield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality 1:1 tutoring sessions to students in various subjects, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans to address each student's unique requirements and goals.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and teachers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and confidence.
- Assist students in developing effective study skills and habits to achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed in a challenging environment.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
