Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to plans and specifications.
- Conduct site surveys and set out construction works according to plans.
- Oversee and supervise site operations, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Co-ordinate with the site manager to ensure smooth project progress.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed site records.
- Provide technical advice and solutions to construction challenges.
- Perform quality control checks and ensure work meets the required standards.
Requirements:
- Engineering qualification required.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD and surveying instruments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
