About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a residential childcare officer in the Cardiff region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing personalised and sensitive care to young people with emotional behaviour disorder and/or complex needs.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support children aged 6-18 with emotional behaviour disorder and/or complex needs in achieving self-advocacy and promoting independence.
- Implement personal care plans and take on key worker responsibilities, building strong relationships with the young people.
- Maintain a safe and supported living environment, including helping with cooking and cleaning.
- Provide access to the community, transporting young people to various activities and appointments.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year's experience working directly with children with emotional behaviour disorder and complex needs.
- Ability to stay calm and positive in challenging situations.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle with business insurance.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
