We are recruiting highly skilled CBT Therapists to join our innovative NHS Talking Therapies service at Wakefield. Our team specialises in evidence-based psychological therapies, aiming to support individuals struggling with common mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, or phobias.

About the Role

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract maternity cover role for 9 months, requiring presence in the service (2/3 days per week). As a High Intensity CBT Therapist, you will be working closely with our clinical team to maintain high standards and contribute to service development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver step 3 high intensity interventions to clients
  • Maintain high standards of therapeutic relationships and working relationships with colleagues
Requirements

You will need to hold a qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and have BABCP accreditation or be eligible and working towards this. Additionally, extensive experience in Mental Health is required, along with a proven ability to develop good therapeutic relationships.

What We Offer

Our competitive salary package includes an estimated £43,041 - £48,515 per annum, plus a one-off joining bonus of £1,200. You will also receive:

  • 32 days' paid holiday a year, increasing with each year of service up to 34 days
  • The option to buy additional holidays and spread the cost
  • Incentivised rates of pay for weekend working and additional hours
