- Assist with Product Management Functions: Assist with Product Management functions such as new business approvals process, product reviews, policy and compliance checks for both product and complementary operational processes, market research, and go-to-market activities.
- Participate in Agile Ceremonies: Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and stand-ups.
- Experience in Product Management Role: Some experience in a product management role, ideally working with Payments SaaS platforms in B2B businesses.
- Experience with Platform/API Products: Experience with platform/API products and related system design concepts in order to help translate the needs and requirements of the customers into well-designed services.
- Exposure to Payment Schemes: Exposure to one or more domestic (e.g. SEPA, FPS, Bacs, etc) or cross-border payment schemes.
- Basic Understanding of Regulatory Requirements: Basic understanding of additional rigour around regulatory and audit requirements (e.g. financial crime monitoring) that banks are subjected to.
- Self-Starter with Independent Ownership: Self-starter, keen to take independent ownership and responsibility in their role.
- Knowledge of Financial Messaging: Knowledge of financial messaging e.g. SWIFT MTxxx, ISO20022.
- Experience with Clearing and Settlement Mechanisms: Experience working with directly with clearing and settlement mechanisms (CSMs).
- Transaction Banking Industry Qualifications: Transaction banking industry qualifications e.g. ACT / ICM, SWIFT etc.
- Project Management/Delivery Qualifications: Project Management/Delivery qualifications e.g. Prince2, Agile.
- Knowledge of External Transaction Banking Landscape: Knowledge of the external transaction banking landscape, key players (inc. banks, PSPs, fintech, vendors), legislative environment (Open Banking, PSD2/3 etc).
