Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk and Resilience Manager to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for driving the culture of risk, business continuity, and resilience to the next level as our programme continues to expand.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and evidence of CPD study on risk and business continuity-related subjects. You will work cross-functionally with our Defence customer, key sub-contractors, and operations teams to ensure the risk and business continuity policies and procedures are of the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Business Continuity aligned to ISO 22301 and Risk Management aligned to UK Government Orange Book, with nuances as dictated within our Defence contract.
  • Support existing risk and business continuity governance meetings.
  • Identify, assess, and report in a timely manner on new and emerging risks to the Leadership Team.
  • Help define our current operational resilience and tolerance to emerging risks.
  • Communicate identified risks to different target audiences through varying communication tools and influence senior decision makers to support resilience building activity.
  • Ensure adequate records are maintained, meeting all reporting obligations.
  • Ensure all personnel are trained and aware of risk and resilience requirements.
Requirements
  • Certification in a relevant risk or business continuity discipline is necessary, with an appetite to be certified in both disciplines within 12 – 18 months.
  • Evidence of working within an operations environment.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), leadership, and partnership working skills.
  • Ability to deliver at pace, multi-task, and manage pressing deadlines.
  • Be able to achieve SC clearance.
  • Willing to travel UK Wide.
