Job Summary:

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a part-time School Success Coordinator to work with low-income, first-generation high school students in grades 9-12 at Mt Union High School. The successful candidate will provide academic support and programming for students through to graduation and post-secondary institution enrollment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplement the work done by the UBP full-time Program Advisor assigned to Mt Union High School.
  • Meet with students and participate in programming throughout the academic year, including Saturday Academies.
  • Maintain all required program paperwork and documentation.
  • Ensure the School Success Coordinator meets the additional requirements, including holding a current K-12 teaching or guidance certification and obtaining all necessary clearances.

Requirements:

  • Must be a staff person working within Altoona School District.
