Domestic Services Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Domestic Services Assistant at The State Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of domestic duties, including general cleaning of wards and departments, to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties, including cleaning of wards, departments, and communal areas.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the Hospital, adhering to the NHS Scotland Cleaning Services Specification and Health care Environmental Inspectorate Standards.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
Requirements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Discretion and courtesy when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
