About the Role:

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in maintaining and repairing a variety of Plant and Material Handling equipment in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of new and used equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform routine service tasks on equipment, including forklifts, diggers, telehandlers, tractors, and ride-on mowers.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic issues with equipment.
  • Accurately complete job cards, including machine details, time, mileage, and any necessary documentation.

Requirements:

  • Recent experience in a similar role, such as Agricultural Engineer, Plant Fitter, or Vehicle Technician.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent eye for detail and ability to operate diagnostic software.
  • NVQ in Plant Engineering, Land Based Engineering, or Heavy Goods is highly desirable.
