Job Title: CNC Field Service Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Field Service Technician to join our team in the power sector. As a CNC Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and commissioning power plant equipment, including CHPs, gas engines, and renewable energy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service, maintenance, breakdowns, and commissioning of power plant equipment
  2. Working on CHPs, gas engines, and renewable energy systems
  3. Electrical & Mechanical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three phase, drives, motors, PLC, engines)
  4. Customer facing role
  5. Monday to Friday covering regional patch
  6. Industry leading overtime rate of pay
  7. Industry training will be provided

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience as a Service Engineer or similar within engineering (Forklifts, Heavy Plant, Automotive, Gearboxes, HGV, Rail)
  2. Mechanical Engine knowledge
  3. X-Forces considered
  4. NAVY/REME Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent)

Progression:

  1. Fully skilled and qualified engineer (As you increase skill set, so does your basic salary)
  2. Official OEM training
  3. Great earning potential & Progression into more senior positions
