About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at FläktGroup UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers in the Building Services Consulting sector.

Your primary objective will be to promote and specify FläktGroup products across various industries, leveraging your knowledge of our Applied Product range and associated services. You will need to stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to provide valuable insights to your line manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet annual business objectives, focusing on excellent account management, order targets, margin management, customer development, and retention.
  • Maintain a robust project pipeline using our QMS software, ensuring timely updates, conversion assessments, and project status tracking.
  • Contribute to the improvement and strategic development of the Applications team, collaborating with your line manager and sales colleagues to exploit opportunities and promote our HVAC equipment and service offerings.
Requirements
  • ONC, HNC/D, or Degree in Mechanical/HVAC discipline or equivalent experience in the HVAC technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of field-based sales experience, with a full, clean driving license.
  • Strong understanding of current Building Services (HVAC) solutions and design principles.
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good negotiator with sound commercial awareness and judgment, able to overcome internal and external challenges.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate confidence and a professional attitude under pressure.
  • A team player with experience in utilizing product selection tools and evaluating outputs to ensure optimal selections and proposals.
  • Good general IT skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other relevant software.
