Deutsche Bank: Senior Quantitative Trading Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Quantitative Trading Engineering Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of our Group Strategy Analytics group, you will play a vital role in building applications that deliver quantitatively led pricing and trading solutions for the Rates & Credit business.

The successful candidate will have excellent modern C++ skills, preferably on Unix/Linux, and experience with high performance and/or low latency development. You will also possess knowledge of modern patterns for continuous delivery of software, as well as Python and shell scripting experience in a Unix/Linux environment.

As a senior leader, you will be responsible for providing clear technical management to the low latency engineering team and collaborating closely with quants & traders on topics that drive the high performance trading infrastructure forward. You will develop new software to meet desk goals and participate fully in code reviews as both an author and a reviewer. Additionally, you will invest in automated testing coverage and test driven development.

Your skills and experience include:
  • Excellent modern C++ skills, preferably on Unix/Linux.
  • High performance and/or low latency development experience.
  • Experience with modern patterns for continuous delivery of software.
  • Python and shell scripting experience in a Unix/Linux environment.
  • Leadership experience in managing small, highly technical teams to deliver complex projects.


We offer a competitive salary range of £100,000 - £140,000 per annum, depending on experience.
