Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain relationships with a network of reliable meat and seafood suppliers
* Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible terms and conditions for high-quality meat and seafood products
* Maintain purchasing contracts, pricing agreements, and terms to ensure compliance and cost effectiveness
* Forecast stock levels and place orders accordingly to ensure a consistent supply of ingredients
* Track order delivery status and review customs clearance documents to ensure timely and compliant delivery
* Stay updated on food and customs regulations to ensure all products meet legal requirements
* Communicate with suppliers and internal sales teams regarding product delivery status, quality issues, and sales performance
* Assist in improving product specifications based on market trends and feedback
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Meat/Seafood Buyer or in a similar procurement role
* Existing network of reliable meat and seafood suppliers
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Knowledge of food safety and customs regulations
* Ability to forecast inventory needs and manage stock levels
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
