We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our MSK outpatient physiotherapist specialist rotation service at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Develop assessment and treatment skills in hydrotherapy, hand therapy, and rheumatology
- Broaden clinical skills within specific UL, LL, Spinal, and Rheumatology pathways
- Participate in the acute 'Rapid Access' initiative working alongside an Advanced Practitioner and a Senior Clinician
- Supervise Rotational Physiotherapists, Technical Instructors, Physiotherapy Assistants, and students
- Deliver 'Clinical Reasoning Training' sessions to those supervised
- Participate in wider In-Service Training programmes
Our highly innovative teams deliver high-quality, patient-focused care. They work with regional partners such as the University of Brighton and national partners such as MACP and NICE as they sit on committees and networks within MSK care.
Requirements- Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy
- Current registration with HCPC
- Post-graduate qualification or proven equivalent experience/training in a relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience, with minimum 6 months musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy experience
- Experience of training/supervision of rotational, technical, assistant, and staff and students
- Experience of multi-professional MDT working (e.g. Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Advanced Practitioners)
- Experience of using client-centred, functional goals, and outcome measures
