Key Responsibilities

We require a skilled Law Costs Draftsperson to join our team at IPS Group, taking on a range of responsibilities including:

  • Creating and maintaining accurate costs billing schedules to ensure timely and efficient financial reporting.
  • Developing processes for regular billing of Legal Aid funded matters, working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Configuring and managing billing triggers for certificates issued, streamlining our workflow and minimizing errors.
  • Utilizing the Client and Cost Management System, Legal Aid Agency Online, and E forms to produce bills and provide technical support to fee earners.
  • Supporting disputed bills to the Legal Aid Agency or relevant bodies, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Collaborating with the Accounts and Finance team to generate reports and management information related to costs, informing business decisions.

Salary Range: £31,750 - £41,250 (dependent on experience), plus excellent benefits package
