Evaluation Associate Director

Ipsos UK Public Affairs is a leading social research and evaluation organization. We are seeking an Associate Director to join our Policy and Evaluation Unit, a multi-disciplinary team of economists and evaluation specialists working across various areas of public policy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead evaluations of major interventions aimed at tackling challenges related to net zero, energy security, and productivity growth.
- Support the growth of our evaluation portfolio by managing and directing evaluations through the full project cycle.
- Draft engaging and persuasive publishable outputs, including reports and presentations.
- Present findings to clients, stakeholders, and other audiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues across our Public Affairs division and external partners.
- Provide specialist expertise in policy or methodological areas.
- Contribute to the development of evaluation skills across our Public Affairs division.
- Work with the Senior Management Team to manage the Policy and Evaluation Unit.
- A passion for policy themes, including innovation, regional economic development, industrial and infrastructure policy, business, and competition.
- A commercial mindset in delivering research and evaluation, with a desire to grow a business.
- A master's degree or higher-level qualification in economics or a related discipline.
- Good knowledge and experience of both quantitative and qualitative approaches.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver projects to timescale and budgets with limited director supervision.
- Proven ability to lead winning evaluation proposals.
- Confident and clear written and verbal communication skills.
