Project Engineering Director for Complex Infrastructure

Amentum is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Director for Complex Infrastructure to lead our major project located in Warrington. As a seasoned professional, you will drive the success of this critical initiative, leveraging your expertise in technical project management and leadership.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the coordination, implementation, and performance of engineering activities for assigned projects, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineering teams to identify and address technical issues, developing solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Establish and implement project manpower needs, coordinating technical activities among disciplines, and identifying compliance requirements.
  • Develop and issue Engineering Execution Plans, incorporating customer requirements, procedures, and standards.
  • Compile master document lists from each discipline, working with stakeholders to develop consistent subcontract and work package descriptions.
  • Cultivate effective working relationships with other departments participating on the project, scheduling meetings as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:

Estimated salary: £95,000 - £115,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Ideal candidate holds a degree in a relevant engineering discipline, ideally Chartered or working towards.
  • Held similar engineering management position, with proven experience in highly regulated construction sectors, including commissioning.
  • Familiarity with safety case justification, building regulations, and CDM regulations.
  • Currently hold SC clearance or prepared to undergo the SC process.
