Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Services Supervisor to join our team at NHS Property Services. This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and wellbeing policies, technical guidance, and statutory regulations. Conduct quality audits to ensure minimum organisational standards are met and maintained.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Implement new standards, lead change, and manage continual improvement. Supervise and manage colleagues, and undertake tasks in disciplines other than your own.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Meet with customers and contractors to ensure works are delivered to organisational standards. Resolve first-line customer complaints and escalate to immediate line managers as necessary.
  • Asset Management and Maintenance: Manage the Scheduled, Reactive, and Remedial maintenance services as directed by the PPM planner (CAFM), helpdesk, or Technical Delivery Manager. Ensure operational standards are maintained at all times.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Ensure the Master Asset Data Base (CAFM) is updated via change control where it is recognised to be incorrect or incomplete. Maintain effective site log books and carry out audits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: At least one of the following: specialist knowledge acquired through experience or qualification, technical/mechanical trade, level 3 NVQ or equivalent in related building services, formal apprenticeship or craft trained within building services, or IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
  • Additional Requirements: Driving licence is essential, must be comfortable using technological devices to log jobs, on-call availability, and desirable to have industry experience.
