Warehouse Supervisor Job DescriptionAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Laundryheap.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our warehouse, leading a team of picker packers, and managing day-to-day warehouse activities to ensure optimal productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Lead the Warehouse Linen team, schedule shifts, manage time-off requests, train and onboard new hires, and monitor staff performance.
  • Picking and Packing: Participate in daily picking and packing operations, ensuring accuracy and speed, and maintain high standards for packing quality and timely dispatch.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels through regular cycle counts, conduct stock reconciliations, reorder stock as necessary, and manage storage space to optimize efficiency.
  • Warehouse Operations: Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout, ensure the proper use of equipment and tools, and promote safety and efficiency.
  • Logistics Coordination: Provide regular updates to the management team on stock needs and operational metrics, ensure accurate and up-to-date records, and handle order-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Reporting & Administration: Prepare regular performance and inventory reports, maintain and organize necessary documentation, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal company policies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role.
  • Strong people management skills, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, and familiarity with warehouse management systems and processes.
  • Attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, good problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and possess knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in warehouse operations.
Work Schedule and Patterns

9-hour shift (8 working hours + 1 hour break), 5 days a week, with the possibility of working weekends as needed.
